Tutorial: Introduction to HPC on Misha

The Center for Neurocomputation and Machine Intelligence at the Wu Tsai Institute is hosting a tutorial on Introduction to HPC on Misha on March 31, 2025, from 1:00 – 3:00 PM.

This session will provide essential knowledge for working with Misha, including:

• HPC Essentials – Understanding cluster nodes, batch jobs, and software modules
• Open OnDemand Essentials – Getting started and working with apps, such as Jupyter, VSCode, RStudo
• Misha-Specific Features – QoS-based GPU allocation, GPU job performance monitoring, and more

The tutorial will be offered in a hybrid format. You can attend in person in Room 1116, 100 College Street, or join online via Zoom.

Prerequisites: A basic understanding of Linux is preferred but not required.
